Are you a Master’s student, PhD candidate, or early-career postdoctoral researcher working on animal biodiversity conservation? The Royal Belgian Zoological Society (RBZS) and the Pairi Daiza Foundation are once again offering a €2,500 research grant to support scientific projects benefiting animal biodiversity conservation.
The grant can support activities such as fieldwork, research stays, sampling, and laboratory analyses. Projects involving zoos and aquariums, particularly those within the EAZA network, are especially encouraged. Applicants from all countries are welcome!
Beyond supporting research, the initiative also aims to bring science closer to the public, with opportunities to share funded projects through Pairi Daiza’s communication channels.
📅 Application deadline: 6 November 2026
📩 Applications should be sent to the RBZS secretary at secretary@rbzs.be.
Find the full guidelines and application details on the RBZS website. Please share with anyone who might be interested!
