I had the pleasure of serving on the examination committee for the public PhD defense of Dr. Setondé Constant Gnansounou at the University of Namur.
His thesis, “Enhancing the Sustainable Use and Resilience of Mangroves in the Anthropocene: An Integrative Social-Ecological Approach” addressed important questions at the interface of ecology, sustainability, and environmental management.
