Noémie talks jellyfish and pollution on Café Nemo!

Our PhD student Noémie Buratto was recently invited for an interview on Café Nemo, a really cool science communication video podcast exploring fascinating topics in marine and aquatic biology!

In the episode, Noémie introduces listeners to the upside-down jellyfish Cassiopea xamachana, the model species she uses to investigate the impacts of plastic and chemical pollution on marine ecosystems. She explains how ecotoxicologists study environmental contaminants, why laboratory experiments are important, and how unusual organisms can help answer important ecological questions. 🪼

It’s always super exciting to see our team engaging in science outreach and sharing research with a broader audience. Great job, Noémie, and thank you to Café Nemo for the invitation!
