I am looking to recruit one PhD student (4 years) and one postdoctoral researcher (approximately 2 years) to join the LAB at the University of Namur as part of our recently awarded FNRS MIS project: “Rhythms of disruption: Pollutant effects on biological timing in aquatic animals.”

The project aims to better understand how environmental pollutants affect biological rhythms in aquatic organisms, combining various experimental approaches to study the consequences of pollution on biological timing. I’m always happy to hear from motivated candidates with an interest in the broad themes of the project!

Who I’m looking for:

For the PhD position, you should (or soon will) hold a Master’s degree in a relevant field. For the postdoctoral position, you should hold a PhD in a relevant discipline. In both cases, curiosity, motivation, and enthusiasm for research are at least as important as a perfect match with every aspect of the project.

How to apply: If you are interested, please send me a short email explaining your motivation and research interests, and your CV.

After reviewing your application, I will contact selected candidates to arrange an informal online discussion to get to know each other, discuss the project, and explore whether there is a good mutual fit.

Applications are considered on a rolling basis until the positions are filled. 😊
