From 7–9 December 2025, the LAB team attended the ZOOlogy 2025 conference in Amsterdam. It was a great opportunity to connect with zoology researchers from across disciplines.
All members of our team presented their work:
- Nicole (oral): Embryos at Risk: Early embryonic development of aquatic ectotherms in a warming and polluted world
- Noémie (oral): When jellyfish wake up: Daily pulsation rhythms and individual variation in the symbiotic jellyfish Cassiopea
- Kiên (poster): Developmental toxicity of plant extracts from Clerodendrum cyrtophyllum and Pericampylus glaucus in zebrafish embryos
- Theresia (poster): Fluoxetine affects fecundity but not spawning-site preference of annual killifish
- Yusuph (poster): Warming and artificial light amplify antibiotic toxicity during early life stages of Artemia fransiscana
- Benjamin (MSc student, poster): Daily changes in phototaxis and gene expression of Daphnia galeata in a light-polluted world
A wonderful conference and a proud moment for the whole team!
