Nichole and Lomarie awarded for their talks at SASAqS

Very big congratulations to our PhD-students Nichole and Lomarie, who won the first and second prize, respectively, for best student oral presentations at the 2025 SASAqS conference in Pietermaritzburg, South Africa. Nichole presented her work on parasite profiles in Nothobranchius killifish, while Lomarie talked about predator-driven community structure of temporary pond ecosystems. Fantastic achievements!

Welcome Amélie Pujol

We our very happy to welcome Amélie Pujol, coming from Université de Toulon in France, for an internship during the coming months! She will be working with our PhD-student Noémie Buratto, looking into the growth of the endosymbiotic dinoflagellates of the upside-down jellyfish. We’re wishing her a very rewarding time ahead!
