I couldn’t be prouder—today marks the publication of Noémie Buratto’s very first scientific article in Current Biology ! The paper is a Quick Guide on the upside-down jellyfish (Cassiopea), a truly iconic topic, especially since today is World Jellyfish Day.
The guide explores the biology of these jellyfish, which live “upside-down” on the seabed and host photosynthetic symbionts. It’s a cool introduction to their behaviour, ecology, and symbiosis, and a perfect example of integrative marine biology. Well done, Noémie, what a stellar first year of your PhD! 🏆
