Our PhD student Theresia Kimario recently took art in the Sci-Art Lab Week (August 25–31, 2025), organized by UNIVERSEH—a European alliance exploring the intersections between science, art, and society.
The theme of this year’s edition, “When Science Meets Art”, invited participants to reflect on how we communicate and create within planetary limits. Through lectures and hand-on sessions, Theresia and other participants explored ways to:
- share research in clear and engaging ways for diverse audiences,
- design with sustainability in mind, considering issues like climate change, energy security, e-waste, and circularity, and
- rethink our relationship with energy and technology—and the central role of the sun in shaping our future
It’s great to see such creative approaches to scientific communication and reflection on global challenges!
